Any user who registers with Freelancingit automatically agrees to the terms and conditions specified on our site. These terms and conditions constitute all aspects of usage of the site as well as transactions both non-financial and financial in nature conducted on the site.

Registration terms:
By clicking on the ‘I agree’ checkbox during registration you automatically agree to the terms and conditions specified on the site. This automatically places you in the category of a registered user of the site which refers to anyone who has registered with the services of Freelancingit. If you are a service provider or buyer when you register for our services you are entered into as a legal ‘company’ that is entitled to such an agreement with Freelancingit. If you do not agree to any term or condition specified in our site then we advise you not to register or become a member of our site. Billing terms and conditions
We follow an escrow method of billing and payment which means that both buyers and providers can leverage this for payment transactions on our site. Through this escrow system funds can be pooled into the escrow and released on successful completion of projects. Project fee payment also follows the same escrow system. Using the services of our site you as a provider can avail our invoice preparation services. You can send such invoices to the service buyers and then receive payments through escrow once a project is delivered within the timeframe specified. Our billing and payment services are in strict accordance with the format and manner as deemed appropriate by Freelancingit and can change from time to time with or without prior notice mentioned.

Warranties and guarantees
Freelancingit does not endorse or control the kind of transactions that happen between service providers and buyers. Hence we do not exercise any control over the budget, costing of projects posted, quality of project completed, the nature of working relationship, whether the contract is part time or full time in nature between provider and buyer etc. We also do not lay claim to the ability of providers to complete projects on time or as per guidelines provided. We also cannot guarantee that payments will be released by a service buyer when a project gets completed as per satisfaction. Hence, we cannot be held liable or responsible for any breach of contract or violation of terms set between buyer and provider.

Changes in terms
From time to time we at Freelancingit might change certain or all aspects of our terms and conditions specified. In such cases, we may or may not provide you with prior notice of the same. In situations where a price change has been reflected in the new terms and conditions, you as a registered user of the site agree to pay these new prices and charges accordingly. We also provide 1099 forms which summarize the payments made to the service provider. Though such services maybe provided by Freelancingit, it does not include any transactions that happen between a buyer and a provider. If a court is able to rule that a service provider is in a contractual agreement with Freelancingit and hence is liable to render services for a particular project offered by a service buyer then we at Freelancingit will need to be indemnified from all responsibility and legal liability for the same.

Escrow and payments
Project fees are needed to be paid in advance prior to implementation of a project. Once a project is initiated the fees need to be escrowed into Freelancingit. You agree that these fees will be in a common pool of funds along with funds provided from other companies or service buyers. Once you have selected a particular service provider and engaged the person for the project you posted on Freelancingit then you will require to release the escrow payment for the same once you have approved the project completed. In case you are not completely satisfied with the project delivery and if you feel the project is not as per your standards then you need to go through the Dispute Resolution procedure. The matter will then be addressed through such services. We merely provide these escrow services in an administrative capacity and hence we do not endorse or exercise any control over the amount of payment made or if it falls short of the set expectations as per the contract between buyer and provider.

Dispute Resolution Services
Our Dispute Resolution Services are meant for only registered users of Freelancingit. Thus these are applicable for those service buyers who have posted a project and the completed project is not as per standards specified, to service providers who have posted their bids on a project and a dispute has arisen on the same matter and for those providers who have been accepted by the buyer to perform work on the project posted. We provide these Dispute Resolution services only from an administrative perspective and do not endorse or provide or exercise any legal advice or control over any of these transactions. We do not offer consultation or advice on any legal situations. In cases where such issues arise you are advised to seek professional third party legal help. These legal assistances must be in accordance with the jurisdiction of your state and should be independent of Freelancingit. If you incur any damages or loss as a result of the usage of the Dispute Resolution Services then you agree automatically to indemnify and hold Freelancingit and its affiliates harmless of any such consequences. Should you not agree to these terms as per our Disputer Resolution Services then you should refrain from using our escrow payment system. Disputes can be negotiated within 20 business days from the date of activating the Dispute Resolution Service on Freelancingit. If the dispute is negotiated in an agreeable manner within 20 days then you as a buyer agree to release escrow payment to the provider. If the mediation is not as per your satisfaction or if the period of 20 days has lapsed then you need to follow the procedure for binding arbitration.
